There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love. - 1 John 4:18This verse is essentially saying that, only by the love of Christ, are we made perfect. This verse is a constant reminder to me that 1). we can't be perfect on our own limited, human terms; and 2). God is full of grace and love and He will uphold those who put their trust in Him.
I created this blog in order to keep track of all the wonderful things God has done in my life. Sometimes, I lose sight of the fact that I'm not alone and that He is always extending a hand to help me through the hard times. I hope this blog can be a source of encouragement to you as well!

Hi! My name is Amanda. I currently live in California and absolutely love it here! I attend Santa Clara University during the weekdays and frequent Evergreen Valley Church on the weekends. I'm studying Biology with an emphasis in Biomedical Sciences, and I'm hoping to graduate with a Biotechnology minor as well. My dream career is in physical therapy, but I'm hoping to get into the biotech industry after graduating in 2013.
As far as hobbies go, I spend most of my time collecting figures/dolls/etc. and taking pictures. I used to be into writing, but haven't done much in the recent years. I hope I get to do more critical writing using this blog as my tool, though! You can learn more about my hobbies at TSURARARA.
